Job Description: A successful Showroom Sales Consultant must have excellent communication skills and interact with and work well with others in our fast paced and ever changing industry. This person should have excellent customer service skills and be comfortable assisting customers with problem resolution.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Assist customers on the showroom floor
  • Maintain acceptable level of individual sales set forth by Showroom Manager
  • Facilitate product selections for walk-in customers as well as scheduled appointments, using the proper forms to assure consistent records of selections
  • Facilitate elevated levels of service and communication with customers
  • Participate in product knowledge meetings and staff meetings
  • Work Saturday and evening schedules as required
  • Handle incoming sales calls
  • Create and maintain a relationship that encourages customers to do business with Expressions Home Gallery
  • Strive to increase knowledge of the entire product offering
  • Help to maintain the appearance of the showroom, the physical integrity
  • Read and understand blueprints
  • Maintain current system knowledge
  • Close the sale

Required Skills and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Knowledge of appliance, lighting or plumbing industry preferred
  • Ability to multitask well in a fast paced environment

  • Provide exceptional customer service through enthusiasm for company and products offered
  • Abide by all policies, rules and regulations of Morrison Supply, including all applicable safety rules and regulations
  • Attendance on a regular, consistent basis
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills, detail oriented and proficient in computer operations
